What's new in Aerunit
Aerunit takes software work from idea to merged pull request with AI coding agents. It writes the stories, works out which ones can safely run in parallel, hands them to Cursor Cloud Agents, and reviews the pull requests that come back. This page follows what we've shipped.

Q4 2026
Our biggest month yet. Aerunit UI got a complete redesign, Aerunit MCP brought the whole workflow into your editor, and Metrics now shows how much of the week your agents spend building. Change maps and conflict checks tell you which stories can run side by side.
Highlights
- Aerunit MCP: run the story writer, delegate Linear stories to Cursor Cloud Agents and read code reviews from your editor.
- Conflict checks tell you which stories can safely run side by side.
- Automated code reviews check each pull request against the requirements in its linked Linear issue, with a full report.
- Follow a Cursor agent's conversation live, and read it after the agent has finished.
- Metrics turns GitHub, Linear and run activity into weekly agent-hours against your targets.
- Replay a run with different settings and compare the answers side by side.
- A blocked story moves ahead only once every story blocking it is finished.
- Sign in with Google, GitHub or Microsoft; add passkeys or an authenticator app; automatic credit top-ups with a monthly maximum.
Q3 2026
The story writer now proposes ready-to-create Linear stories, and buying credits moved into the app. Teams can share a single credit pool, and agent sessions got easier to keep tidy.
Code review now runs on every new pull request, your workspace can keep its own prompt templates, and credit usage is easier to follow.
Automations got a home in Aerunit UI, GitHub and Linear moved into one Integrations page, and code review learned to track what you've already sent back to the agent.
Q2 2026
Code review arrived: review an agent's pull request and send the findings you choose straight back to it. Pay-as-you-go credits arrived too.
The story writer learned to stop and ask you questions, and to split big tasks into focused sub-tasks. Automation rules became something you can manage yourself.
Stories unblocked by a merged pull request can go straight to your coding agent. The story writer explores your repositories before it answers, and a Credits page shows your prepaid balance.
Q1 2026
Automations arrived, so when a pull request merges, Aerunit finds the stories it unblocked and starts work on them. A new Agents page lets you talk to running Cursor Cloud Agents.
Aerunit begins: Prompt Runner, stories sent to Linear, and Cursor Cloud Agents launched straight from Aerunit.
